Trauma Informed Supervision
Description
To contribute to a more trauma-informed organizational culture, supervisors and managers must be equipped to lead in a trauma-informed way, including in the direct supervisory relationships. Join us for this workshop on trauma informed supervision, applicable for anyone in a supervisory role in any sector of work. In this interactive workshop, participants will explore the connection between on-the-job behaviors and the neurobiological processes of stress and trauma exposure, consider how to apply the principles, commitments, and actions of TIC to supervisory relationships, prepare for crucial conversations and giving feedback, and review practices to structure safety in supervision and build belonging in the team.
We ask participants to join this virtual class with camera and microphone capability, as this will be a very interactive class.
This training provides two (2) contact hours, CEU applicable for most professions. A certificate of attendance will be provided via email after the class.
