Travel Journaling for Beginners
Description
Turn your travel memories into something you can actually hold onto!
In this beginner-friendly, hands-on workshop, you’ll learn simple ways to document your adventures using writing, photos, collected ephemera, collage, and more.
We’ll talk about what to collect, how to capture the little details you don’t want to forget, and how to bring everything together into creative journal pages without the pressure to make them perfect.
Your class includes a basic travel journal, my favorite journaling pen, printable worksheets, and a link to download my digital Travel Journaling Field Guide. You’ll also have access to a colorful stash of shared creative supplies including decorative papers, stickers, washi tape, scissors, adhesives, and more.
No artistic or journaling experience required!
A little prep before class:
Choose one trip, day, or favorite travel memory to use as your project during the workshop. Bring a few printed photos along with any little pieces you’ve saved, like ticket stubs, receipts, maps, postcards, brochures, labels, or other paper keepsakes. Don’t have much saved? No worries! There will be plenty of shared supplies to work with.
Want a bigger stash of supplies to take home? You’ll also have the option to upgrade your included supplies to a Creative Traveler Starter Journaling Kit.
