Campaign to Defend Treaty

ANTaR Victoria is holding this webinar for Local Reconciliation Groups to hear about the urgent need to defend Victoria’s historic Treaty.

It is increasingly likely that there will be a change in government at the Victorian state election this November. That government is likely to be a combination of the Liberal National Party and One Nation - two parties who have committed to tearing up the Victorian Treaty. While there is significant campaign activity in key electorates, all candidates across Victoria need to know that the majority of Victorians support Treaty.

Facilitated by ANTaR Vic chairperson Matt Bell,  we’ll hear from the First Peoples’ Assembly, Common Threads Together for Treaty, and from a couple of LRGs who are in the thick of campaigning to defend Treaty.
