Tree Planting Day - Orange Campus
Event description
September is Biodiversity Month! To celebrate, Sustainability at Charles Sturt is
supporting a tree planting day on our Orange Campus. The event will be led
by Cilla Kinross (Adjunct Lecturer in Environmental Management) with support from the Charles Sturt
Orange Operations Team.
The morning will involve planting
a range of native trees, shrubs and ground covers within our campus
grounds. The aim of the planting day is to improve habitat connectivity within our campus area.....and to have fun doing so!
After the event we will be having a free BBQ for all participants.
The event is open to everyone! Students, staff and community members. Be sure to bring a hat, water bottle and gloves.
We will meet at Carpark 3 within the Orange campus at 10am and walk down to the site together.
Exact location for planting on the day can be found here: Meeting Spot for Tree Planting
