Tree Planting Day - Orange Campus April 2025
Event description
Join us for a morning of tree planting on the 2nd April from 9:30am to 12 noon.
The morning will involve planting a range of trees, shrubs and ground covers along Summer Creek to improve biodiversity and habitat value within this valuable creek system. This section of Summer Creek falls within one of the Biodiversity Zones of the Charles Sturt University Campus at Orange. A light lunch and other refreshments will be served after the session.
The event will be led by Cilla Kinross (Chair of Summer Hill Creekcare and Adjunct Lecture at Charles Sturt)with support from Sustainability at Charles Sturt. Sustainability at Charles Sturt is promoting this event on behalf of Summer Hill Creekcare.
The event is open to everyone! Students, staff and community members. Be sure to bring a hat, water bottle and gloves.
