Event description

Save our threatened species! Plant trees next to Giant Gippsland Earthworm colonies

Join Landcare and Gippsland Threatened Species Action Group at this tree planting field day which aims to put indigenous species back into these steep gullies, next to (not on top of) where the threatened earthworms can be found.

This planting is in Ranceby, 10min north of Arawata. The address will be sent to those who register closer to the time.

Please note there is a moderately steep 500m walk to the planting site. A moderate level of fitness is required. If you are looking for a planting day for small children our Pedal and Plant event will be a lot more suitable :)

Lunch will be provided after planting.

Please note there are no toilets on site.
