It tackles the complexities, controversies, and challenges of forest restoration, presenting innovative solutions through a blend of modern science and traditional knowledge. Treewilding is Dr. Robinsons second science book, designed to inspire a new generation to restore forests responsibly and deepen their connection to nature.

Dr. Jake M. Robinson, a microbial and restoration ecologist at Flinders University in South Australia, is on a mission to protect and restore nature while promoting the health of both people and the planet. His work focuses on collaborative science, effective communication, innovation, and practical action. 

Dr. Robinson's previous book, Invisible Friends, explores the pivotal and fascinating role of microbes in our lives and the environment, often in ways that sustain life.
