Successful applicants will receive an access code to purchase tickets.
Please note that the ticket price is a DEPOSIT ONLY to secure your attendance and will be refunded for registrars who attend the workshop. Cancellations will be accepted up to two weeks before the workshop.
TRGP Registrars are offered a group welcome dinner on Thursday evening, accommodation Thursday night at the Novotel Devonport and attendance at Friday's Procedural Skills Masterclass.
This workshop will consist of eight separate skill stations each of approximately 1 hour duration, focusing on more advanced skills and less commonly encountered clinical situations that build on the core curriculum of rural generalist training. Both ACRRM and RACGP trainees are welcome.
These sessions will all be facilitated by experienced ACRRM Medical Educators and UTAS clinical teaching staff. The emphasis will be on "hands on" experience in small groups to maximise the learning opportunity. There will be no didactic lectures.
Some of the session content may be used as part of log book requirements.
