We're thrilled to bring back Trick or Treat for 2026! Put on your favorite costume and Trick or Treat across our historic village this Halloween season! Visit many of the historic structures around West Overton to enjoy candy and other treats.

Trick-or-Treating: Collect candy across our historic site! Also stop by the Trunk or Treat station featuring local businesses, organizations, and community members for even more treats!
Free Museum admission: Explore our interactive exhibition, Forging Ahead and Falling Behind: Industrial Growth in a Rural Community.
DIY History Day - Halloween History: In the Museum, learn about the history of Halloween and enjoy some fun crafts as part of our DIY (Do-It-Yourself) History Day series, sponsored by the EQT Foundation.
Scottdale Public Library will be joining us for crafts and stories.
Hot cider and popcorn: Along with candy, enjoy hot cider in the Summer Kitchen and popcorn in the Museum.
Food trucks: Enjoy food from King's Family Restaurant
Distillery open: We also have treats for grown-ups! Specialty, fall-themed cocktails will be available for purchase in the Distillery.

Plan your visit

This event is free, but registration for timed entry is required due to limited parking space and to help provide an accurate headcount for candy and craft materials. We want to make sure everyone has the safest and most enjoyable experience at West Overton.

Please arrive only during the start time for which you registered. We also encourage carpooling.

Children must be accompanied by an adult.

East Huntingdon Township will close Frick Avenue during the event.

How to Register

Tickets are free, and you only have to indicate the number of children attending.

Please sign up to arrive at either 3 p.m., 4 p.m., or 5 p.m.
