Trivia for Rohingya Refugee Education
Event description
Join us for a fun evening while we raise funds so Rohingya children in the world’s largest refugee camp can go to school.
All funds raised go directly to Youths for Rohingya Development to fund their learning centres for essential education in Cox’s Bazar. YRD School teaches 550 boys and 450 girls across 3 schools and 35 home-based learning centres, from Kindergarten to Class 12.
They cannot access government funding (due to being refugee-led), and need our help to pay for books, pencils, solar lighting, and other essentials.
To learn more, please visit our Chuffed fundraising page, giving information about YRD’s schools and home-learning centres, and exactly how the funds we raise will provide children with the teaching and resources they need for learning.
