This solo exhibition by Margo Humphries reveals the numerous styles practised by the artist and how this wide variety of anything and everything meets bursts of bright colour.
Margo is a very active Lake Macquarie-based visual artist who has had a stall at every Art Bazaar since 2012. Margo also joined the Hunter Arts Network committee that year and is currently the Publicity Officer. Margo is originally from Taree and moved to the area 22 years ago. Margo has a visual vocabulary - her original paintings, textiles and hand painted patterns have made her known for her bright colourful ideas and wide variety of different styles. The energy in Margo’s creations appears to be limitless. Margo loves creating works that you could stare at for hours, and is always busy creating new works to keep up with the demand of her best selling art. For Margo, the creative voyage along the way is equally significant as the outcome.
