The workshops will be presented by Mr Alan Pincott, director of Australian Trucking Safety Services & Solutions. Alan is a former manager of transport safety services at VicRoads. He has previously worked with the LRTA delivering similar workshops and has done a lot of work in WA in the forestry industry and nationally with the dairy industry. His approach is very practical and down to earth.
In addition to Alan’s expertise we have also secured Adam Gibson, Transport and Logistics Engineer from NTI, to provide technical advice on rollover prevention. Adam is the lead author of the National Truck Accident Research Centre (NTARC) report. He too is very practical and knowledgeable in his presentations.
The workshops will be available to all rural transporters - not just members of the LRTA. We would also like to encourage farmers, grain handlers and lime pit owners to attend as the more we spread the message, the better it will be for the industry and road users.
