Trust in Dialogue, Dialogue for Trust FAPSA Conference

Join FAPSA members from across Asia-Pacific for a family friendly and philosophical retreat. Cook, Eat, Philosophise together, then wake up and do it again. Stay in the historic Whitehall Guest House in the lovely seaside town of Queenscliff, Victoria.

This weekend promises to be a lovely gathering of friends from around Australia and our Asia-Pacific friends.  We will gather to discuss our differing practices of Community of Inquiry and Philosophy with Children, to think about how we can advocate for philosophy in schools in are various contexts with an emphasis of thinking about how we can elevate the role of trust and dialogue.

A workshop program is in progress and we are hoping to hold at least one PIPS, Philosophy in Public Spaces, event during the weekend, as well as go for strolls around the beautiful setting. There is also a chance for a trip on a sailboat.

Conference attendees are welcome to bring their families (at a reduce cost) to stay who can enjoy what Queenscliff has to offer - beach walks, lighthouse views, parks, shops, cafes, and perhaps catch the ferry across the bay to Sorrento.
