Justin Samuel, CTO & Founder, Less Bits
Justin Samuel, founder of Less Bits, began his career in 2001 as a self-taught PHP developer. A few years later, he went back to school to study computer science which took him on the path towards security research and academia. During this time, he identified vulnerabilities in all Linux packages managers and earned a National Science Foundation fellowship to fund his grad school research. A few years into a Ph.D., he realized he was not
an academic at heart. He wanted to create and have a positive impact, and so, he created Less Bits.
A bit about Less Bits
Less Bits was created in 2013 with a vision to create products that solve problems in the hosting industry. With a focus on simplicity and without sacrificing speed, performance, and reliability, Less Bits began with ServerPilot. ServerPilot is a modern server management solution optimized for WordPress and PHP. Less Bits has since expanded into web hosting with HostLaunch, cybersecurity with HeatShield, and site migration with DataShuttle. This is just the beginning for Less Bits, the company aims to continue creating new products, innovate their existing products, and solve problems in the hosting industry.

With over 12 years’ of events experience, Anita has predominately worked within the financial services, tech, and startups spaces. She is currently the Head of Events at tech-focused co-working space, Tank Stream Labs, and launched anitaplanner, an event consultancy business in May 2019. She is passionate about supporting the growth of the startup and tech communities through leading event management and delivering strategic and innovative events.
