TSL Lunch & Learn - Let's Talk: Business, beers, and breaking the stigma
Event description
It's about time we normalise conversations around mental health. Why is it considered taboo to speak about your mental health with friends, family, and colleagues, but it's ok to speak openly about being physically ill? Why do we shy away from having discussions about our mental health? Because after all, our mental and physical health is all a part of being HUMAN.
From conversation prompts on coasters to balcony beers to hypnotherapy, our panellists are experts in getting the conversation started. In this session, we'll talk about breaking the stigma around mental health and how you can help normalise these conversations.
- How to bring up mental health challenges in everyday conversations
- Checking in and looking out for others
- Impact literacy and awareness
- The importance of coaches, mentors, and experts
