The Studio Session — Series 02: BLUE

Description
THE STUDIO SESSION | SERIES 02: BLUE
What if you could watch a piece of art come to life, meet the person creating it, hear the story behind it and then take it home that same night?
This isn’t your typical art exhibition.
Imagine walking into a space filled with 14 artists, each transforming a blank canvas or raw materials into something completely unique, right before your eyes! You can wander between their creative stations, watch their ideas unfold, ask questions and discover the inspiration behind every brushstroke, texture and detail.
And when the creating is done?
The artwork goes under the hammer in a live auction, giving you the chance to own a piece you’ve watched come to life.
Welcome to The Studio Session — a live art experience bringing together creativity, connection and community in the heart of Victoria Park.
💙14 ARTISTS. ONE THEME. ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES.
We’ve invited 14 emerging and established artists to interpret BLUE through their own creative lens. Each artist will have a few hours to transform their ideas into an original artwork, and you’re invited to witness every stage of the process.
No two pieces will be the same, and nobody knows exactly what will be created until the day unfolds. That’s the beauty of live art. You get to experience the unexpected.
WHAT’S WAITING FOR YOU?
🎨 Watch 14 Artists Create LIVE
Get up close to the creative process as artists paint, sculpt, build and explore their interpretation of BLUE. Discover techniques, witness creative decisions and watch original artwork evolve in real time.
💬 Meet the People Behind the Art
Chat with the artists, ask questions and discover what inspires them. Whether you’re an artist yourself or have never picked up a paintbrush, there’s something special about connecting with the person behind a piece of art.
💙 Experience Creativity & Community
Enjoy an atmosphere where art isn’t hidden behind gallery walls. It’s happening all around you. Wander, explore, connect and discover something that sparks your own imagination.
🔨 Feel the Excitement of a Live Auction
As the creative session concludes, each artist will share the story behind their finished piece before it goes to auction. Maybe you’ll discover a piece you connect with. Maybe you’ll fall in love with a story. And maybe you’ll be the one taking that artwork home.
With 90% of the final auction sale going directly to the artist, your purchase supports the creative talent behind the experience.

🎟️ WHY YOU DON’T WANT TO MISS THIS
Because how often do you get to see the beginning of a piece of art, not just the end?
The Studio Session is designed for people who love discovering something different.
Whether you’re planning a day out with friends, looking for a unique Perth art experience, wanting to support local artists or simply curious about the creative process, this is your invitation.
You don’t need to be an art expert, and you don’t have to buy an artwork.
Just come with curiosity. The artists will bring the creativity.

A LITTLE ABOUT US
The Studio Session began with a simple thought: people often fall in love with a finished piece of art without ever knowing the story of how it came to life.
We wanted to change that.
Our first Studio Session in April 2026 brought together 10 artists and over 100 attendees, with nine out of ten artworks finding new homes.
Now we’re returning for Series 02 with 14 artists, a brand-new theme and even more opportunities to connect with Perth’s creative community.
BE PART OF THE STORY
The artwork doesn’t exist yet.
The stories haven’t been told.
And the moments that will make this event special haven’t happened.
But you can be there when they do.
Grab your tickets and experience THE STUDIO SESSION — SERIES 02: BLUE.
Proudly supported by our second Arts Grant from the Town of Victoria Park.
