Event description

Returning to the woods, we’re thrilled to announce our next and final open-air event, joined by none other than Sunju Hargun, Tangela, Fabio Leal and Amira.

With over a decade of shows and releases since 2010, Sunju Hargun has carved out a unique place in the Bangkok underground. Known for his signature blend of dark minimal tech and left-field psychedelia, we’re honoured to welcome a true master of his sound to Ngunnawal Country, lakeside.

Joining us is Eora-based DJ and producer Tangela, head of oomycota and driving force behind dstreet, club.less and minutiae. Her scope as an artist and selector spans further than most across the continent, and we’re excited to invite her into the fold for this special occasion.

A dear friend of ours makes his Turning Tables debut in fine fashion - warming up a new L’acoustics stack courtesy of @splhire. Fabio Leal, known for his work with Zenon Records, will ease us into the afternoon with 90 minutes of deep, intricate sounds.

We're also excited to welcome back TT alumni Amira, following her beautiful set at our Blonde Concept day party at Sideway. Muna’s return promises a seamless transition into the golden hour, and we couldn’t think of a better artist to guide us there.

Location is 10 minutes from the CBD - coordinates will be emailed to all ticket holders on the day. Bring along anything that will help you settle in comfortably: a picnic rug or camp chair, a refillable water bottle, and your drinks of choice (no glass, please). Bins will be provided - please make the effort to clean up after yourself.

Turning Tables encourages and promotes a safe and respectful approach to partying. We celebrate diversity and strive to create an open environment where everyone feels free to be themselves. We have zero tolerance for racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism or ageism.

Consent is key. Affirmative consent is the only form of consent. Be aware of how your actions affect others - think twice and contribute to the vibe.

A team of organisers and safety officers in high-vis will be present throughout the day. If something doesn’t feel right, please speak to someone. No situation is too small or too big.

We acknowledge this event takes place on stolen land. We pay our deepest respects to the Ngunnawal, Ngunawal and Ngambri people - the traditional custodians of the land - and to their Elders past, present and emerging. When you join us, please take a moment to reflect on the history of the place you stand, and the enduring connection Aboriginal people have with this land, its culture and community.

Free tickets are available for all First Nations people. DM us or get in touch via email at turningtables.collective@gmail.com
