TTRR#1 Swimmable Cities (with the Yarra River Keepers Association)

By 2030, we believe that Melbournians could be bathing in floating saunas and plunging into Birrarung as a weekly afterwork ritual. Why not bring back the bridge diving events too?!
Rivers, harbours and bays are the lifeblood of Australian and New Zealand communities. They provide innumerable ecosystem services to businesses from iconic branding imagery to office building stormwater filtration and employee mental wellbeing. So, the TTRR thought we’d kick off the 2021-2030 UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration with an event that looks at the role regenerative business leaders can play in making our urban waterways swimmable.
Victorians are going to take the lead on TTRR#1, having had plenty of time to dream up unapologetically bold ideas in lockdown. We’ve teamed up with the Yarra River Keepers Association in what is sure to be a cracker discussion.
