Event description

Following his concert at the Titanic Museum in 2022, Gianmario Strappati (Ambassador of Don Bosco Missions for Music in the World and Professor at the G. Verdi Conservatory of Ravenna) returns to Belfast to Queen's University (Harty Room), offering performances and explanations of the finest works of great Italian music, from the Baroque through the Romantic to contemporary period.

The tuba performances will highlight the virtuosic capabilities of this unique instrument, which Gianmario Strappati showcases in his recitals around the world.

In this event will be executions with music by V. Bellini, G. Puccini, G. Rossini, N.Paganini, V. Monti, T. Albinoni etc.

The Honorary Consul of Italy in Northern Ireland, Dr Federica Ferrieri, and The Consular Agent, Mr Giorgio Zarrelli, will be In attendance.
