Event description

Join us for an informative and engaging session with Richard Lim, designed to help older adults stay safe from online and phone scams.

Scammers often target older and vulnerable individuals with convincing messages, fake screen pop-up messages, fake charity appeals, and fraudulent shopping deals. This session will empower older people with the knowledge to spot red flags, protect personal information, and confidently navigate digital and phone communications.

Morning tea is provided.

Location: Kingborough Community Hub, 7 Goshawk Way, Kingston

Entry is free. Bookings required, please RSVP.

Doors open at 10:45 AM. The talk will be from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM

These information sessions for older people are part of Kingborough Council's Positive Ageing Program.
