Sat, 24 May, 10am - 2pm NZST

Event description

The exhibition, presented by Mana Wāhine, embodies the principles of collaboration and creativity through art and performance. Featuring a combination of physical displays and music, this event honors Mana Wāhine values that guide the artistic process.

Central to this effort are the values of Manāki, ako, and whanau, which aim to produce meaningful work that benefits future generations. The exhibition fosters safe and supportive creative spaces (Ahūru Mōwai) where concepts such as Aroha, Awhi, and Auaha can flourish. Scheduled to open on May 2, 2025, the exhibition coincides with the start of New Zealand Music Month—a celebration dedicated to honoring local music and its creators.
