Make a difference and purchase a ticket in the OLGC Tuition Raffle 2022!

Our Lady of Good Counsel School invites families of our school to participate in the OLGC Tuition Raffle 2022!

For just $40 per ticket (excl booking fee) you could win this amazing prize, whilst also helping Our Lady of Good Counsel School!

  • Prize:
    Annual Tuition fee paid for 2023 for oldest child! That’s a value of $2,282.00! 

Proceeds will be used to enhance and refurbish our Year 5 and 6 classrooms, ultimately benefiting all students.

Tickets are on sale from Wednesday, 26th October 2022 until midnight Thursday, 24th November 2022 (unless sold out prior).

The raffle will be drawn at our school assembly on Friday, 25th November 2022 at 9am.

Terms and Conditions Lottery Permit:

The Our Lady of Good Counsel 2022 (Raffle) is being conducted pursuant to lottery permit LS219183922 [issued by the Gaming & Wagering Commission Act 1987. The Permit is held by Rachel Di Girolami, on behalf of Our Lady of Good Counsel of 117 Miles Street, Karrinyup (OLGC) to conduct and promote the Lottery in Western Australia. Lottery Permit Holder: Rachel Di Girolami, Our Lady of Good Counsel School (9 6242 3400).

Promotion Period
- Raffle begins: Wednesday 26th October 2022  at 6:00AM AWST.
- Final ticket sales close: Thursday 24 November 2022 at 12.00PM AWST (unless sold out prior to this time)
- Draw date: Friday 25 November 2022 at school Assembly (to be held at 9.00AM AWST).

Terms and Conditions
- Purchasers must be 18 years or older. Tickets are $40 each.  A maximum of 250 tickets will be sold.
- There is no limit on the number of tickets that can be purchased by each individual Purchaser (subject to the overall ticket limit of 250).
- Proceeds from the sale of the Raffle tickets will go towards the refurbishment of Year 5 and 6 classrooms.
- The winner will be notified in writing and the names of the winner may be published in SEQTA on 25 November 2022.
- OLGC may use a prize winner's details for promotional purposes. By purchasing a Raffle ticket, the Purchaser agrees that if the Purchaser is a prize winner, the Purchaser will participate in reasonable media activities concerning the Raffle draw and to photographs or video of the winner being used for the OLGC marketing and promotional activities (both in print and on the internet).
- The Raffle draw is subject to a required minimum number of tickets being sold, as determined by OLGC If the required minimum number of tickets are not sold by the closing date, the Raffle will be cancelled and all monies refunded in full to Purchaser, subject to the approval of and any conditions imposed by the Department of Racing, Gaming and Liquor WA.

Main Draw
- Assuming all tickets are sold, each ticket has a 1 in 250 chance of winning the prize. The prize value is $2.282 in Tuition Fees Only.
- The sum of $2,282 (Tuition Fees) will be credited to the 2023 account of the winner's choosing or for Year 6 students ONLY may have their 2022 school fee refunded. The account must be that of a student attending OLGC in 2022.
- The prize must be redeemed within 12 months of the draw date (by 25 November 2023) by notifying Rachel Di Girolami winner's intention to redeem the prize.
- Unused balances cannot be redeemed for cash and are not refundable in any portion.
- If the winner so chooses, the prize may be donated to OLGC to be allocated at OLGC’s discretion.
- Prize is not transferable or redeemable in cash.

Conduct of Draw
The prize draw will be conducted by Jasmin Kenworthy, Principal of OLGC at the Assembly on 25 November 2022, Our Lady of Good Counsel of 112 Miles Street, Karrinyup by means of a barrel draw. Unclaimed prizes will be dealt with in accordance with the procedures set out in the Gaming and Wagering Commission Act 1987 (WA).

Refunds:
NO refunds will be issued, unless the draw is cancelled subject to the approval of and any conditions imposed by the Department of Racing, Gaming and Liquor WA.

Changes:
Where it is lawful to do so, these Terms and Conditions may be updated to address any errors or to clarify information and re-published as required by the requirements of the Permit or the Department of Racing, Gaming and Liquor WA.

Excluded purchasers:
Tickets must not be purchased by the Lottery Permit Holder. During the conduct of a draw, if OLGC (or delegate) conducting the draw determines that the Lottery Permit Holder is a prize winner, then the relevant prize will be re-drawn. If OLGC (or delegate) determines after the conclusion of the draw but before a prize has been collected that the Lottery Permit Holder is a prize winner, then the excluded purchaser will not be entitled to collect the prize.

The decision of OLGC (or delegate) will be final and binding.

Acceptance:
By participating in Our Lady of Good Counsel Tuition Raffle 2022, you are deemed to accept the Terms and Conditions set out in this document.
