Tulong Liga 2025
Event description
The Filipino Student Council of New South Wales presents Tulong Liga 2025, the ultimate volleyball and basketball showdown where anything can happen.
Join us on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at Whitlam Leisure Centre, Liverpool, for an electrifying day of sport, culture, and community. But before the first whistle blows, witness a twist no one saw coming—our players don’t even know who they’re playing with yet. Watch as athletes get drafted live before the game, shifting the usual team dynamics and setting the stage for unexpected rivalries and alliances.
The question is, which side will you be on when the day ends? Will you stick with Barkada, your comfort zone and familiar faces, or will you take a leap and switch to Kabayan, repping the collective strength of the Filipino community? With teams finalized just before game time, adaptability and chemistry will determine who rises to the top.
This isn’t just about competition, it’s about playing with purpose. Tulong Liga 2025 proudly supports Bantu Philippines, an initiative empowering at-risk youth through capoeira, giving young Filipinos a fighting chance through movement and mentorship. Every game played, every shot made, and every point scored contributes to a greater cause beyond the court.
🎟 RAFFLE TIME!
And just when you think the surprises are done—we're upping the stakes with insane raffle prizes up for grabs! Philippine Airlines is proudly flying one lucky winner home with a return ticket from Sydney to Manila or enjoy a chill day out with café vouchers from Decanso and more!. All proceeds go toward supporting Bantu Philippines, so you’re not just winning, you’re giving back too.
📅 Mark your calendars and start warming up.
This is more than just a game, it’s a moment to be part of something bigger. Whether you’re an athlete, a fan, or just looking for a reason to gather and celebrate Filipino pride, this is the event you don’t want to miss.
