Tulua

TULUA are a young traditional Irish band hailing from the southeast of Ireland. Meaning ‘tribe of many paths’. 

TULUA have been deeply exploring and sharing music of their local area and other parts of Ireland, bringing the audience with them on a captivating journey of songs about love, tunes about life and everything in between. Their rooted passion for playing music has evolved together from a young age, and they now wholeheartedly explore the possibilities with their music and songs to create a sound unique to them, having been previously described as showing ‘true bond and empathy’ (IMM 2024) and ’music that transcends the mind’ (NCFF 2025). Since their official formation in 2019, they have released their debut album (No Coming No Going 2023) and an
EP (Rising 2021), and have successfully toured and performed in countries around the world (Ireland, Germany, Netherlands, Australia, France, USA, Canada). They were official showcase artists at the 2025 Folk Alliance International Conference in Montreal, have been part of many renown festivals and projects throughout their time (Phil Murphy Weekend Ireland, Stan Rogers Festival Canada, Milwaukee Irish Fest USA, Lorient Festival France, National Celtic Folk Festival Australia, Creative Ireland Projects and more) and have performed extensively in The National Opera House of Ireland.

Through this they have garnered a strong following with their music being shared all over the world on playlists (Spotify/Podcasts), radio stations (CKUA Radio/RnaG etc.) and TV programs (Fleadh TV, Ireland with Michael etc.). They look forward to sharing their musical journey with everyone as they explore and express the possibilities within Irish traditional music.

TULUA est un jeune groupe de musique traditionnelle irlandaise originaire du sud-est de l’Irlande. Son nom signifie « tribu aux multiples chemins ».

TULUA explore en profondeur et fait découvrir la musique de sa région et d’autres parties de l’Irlande, entraînant le public dans un voyage captivant à travers des chansons d’amour, des mélodies sur la vie et tout ce qui se trouve entre les deux. Leur passion profonde pour la musique s’est développée ensemble dès leur plus jeune âge, et ils explorent aujourd’hui sans réserve les possibilités offertes par leur musique et leurs chansons pour créer un son qui leur est propre, ayant déjà été décrits comme faisant preuve d’un « lien authentique et d’empathie » (IMM 2024) et proposant une « musique qui transcende l’esprit » (NCFF 2025). Depuis leur formation officielle en 2019, ils ont sorti leur premier album (No Coming No Going 2023) et un EP (Rising 2021), et ont effectué avec succès des tournées et donné des concerts dans des pays du monde entier (Irlande, Allemagne, Pays-Bas, Australie, France, États-Unis, Canada). Ils ont été artistes officiels de la Folk Alliance International Conference 2025 à Montréal, ont participé à de nombreux festivals et projets de renom tout au long de leur carrière (Phil Murphy Weekend en Irlande, Stan Rogers Festival au Canada, Milwaukee Irish Fest aux États-Unis, Festival de Lorient en France, National Celtic Folk Festival en Australie, Creative Ireland Projects et bien d’autres) et se sont produits à de nombreuses reprises à l’Opéra national d’Irlande.

Ils se sont ainsi constitué un large public, leur musique étant diffusée partout dans le monde via des playlists (Spotify/podcasts), des stations de radio (CKUA Radio/RnaG, etc.) et des émissions de télévision (Fleadh TV, Ireland with Michael, etc.). Ils ont hâte de partager leur parcours musical avec tout le monde, tout en explorant et en exprimant les possibilités qu'offre la musique traditionnelle irlandaise.
