Event description

Join us for the Silver Jubilee celebration of the Tumbarumba Spring Flower Festival, a spectacular event that has been bringing joy and inspiration to the local community for 25 years. This year's festival promises to be the biggest and best yet, featuring:

  • 12 Open Gardens, including seven extensive country gardens, innovative new town gardens, a high school garden, and a delightful garden managed by an octogenarian. Five of these gardens have never been open to the public before!
  • Annual Flower Show: Marvel at the stunning display of locally grown flowers. The competition is fierce, with impeccable blooms and vibrant colours.
  • Sculpture and Photography Competitions: with generous sponsorship from Snowy Hydro this year and inspiration from the Snowy Valleys Sculpture Trail, these events will attract a wide diversity of interest and are bound to impress.
  • Photography exhibitions
  • Children's colouring in competition

Funds raised from garden entry feees are donated to charities and local causes nominated by the garden hosts. 

The Spring Flower Festival coincides with the Tumbarumba Tastebuds festival, celebrating the region's exquisite local wines.

An All-Access Pass provides entry to all festival gardens and the stadium where the flower show and competitions are held. The pass also entitles holders to get a 20% discount on purchases at Tumba Bikes & Blooms during the festival.  Individual entries to specific venues can be purchased at the gate for $5 each. 

Please note that these tickets apply only to official festival locations.

The Tumbarumba & District Garden Club will also host a celebratory dinner for this Silver jubilee on during the festival on Saturday 26 October. Tickets must be purchased before 12 October.
