Event description
Tumbatrek offers a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a day of trekking through one of New South Wales' most scenic landscapes, with breath taking views of nature and our magnificent region. The event aims to promote tourism in the Tumbarumba area and offers a chance for informal discussions on issues important to our community.
Attendees will include politicians, Council Mayors, Councillor's and General Managers of regional Councils, as well as community leaders and members.
We would be delighted for you to join us in celebrating the strengths of our region and contributing to shaping a brighter future.
Lunch, refreshments, and transport via bus from Goldfields Heritage Park, Tumbarumba will be provided for the trek.
We look forward to your participation in this special event and the opportunity to connect with fellow community members and leaders.
Event Details:
Registration opens 6:00am - Goldfields Heritage Park, Tumbarumba.
6:30am Welcome and Safety talk - all participants must be present.
Bus leaves at 6:45am on the dot, transporting all trekkers to the trek location.
Snack pack, morning tea and lunch provided as well as water refilling stations at morning tea and lunch stops.
Bus transport from end of trek back to Goldfields Heritage Park - returning around 2pm (as an estimate).
What to bring:
Bottle of water
Hat, sunscreen
Appropriate trekking shoes and clothes
Please note: tickets are 80% refundable once purchased up until 1 week prior to the event, when they become non-refundable. RSVP by Friday 23rd January 2026.
