Event description

The Science Collective is pleased to announce our first ever Science Fair in Tumby Bay!  What is even better is that thanks to sponsorship from Northern Water and Children's University we are able to offer this as a FREE public event.  However due to the size of the venue we may need to restrict the number of visitors.  So even though the event is free, please book your tickets to guarantee entry.

Our Science Fairs are aimed at primary school aged children and their families and always provide an exciting mix of entertaining science shows and hands-on activities and the Tumby Bay event is no exception.  Science Shows throughout the day will include a Wildlife Show by Wild on Eyre presenters; a Liquid Nitrogen Show by SciWorld; and a Fire and Froth Chemistry Show by the Science Collective's SciFiBri! There will also be virtual reality experiences provided by Ignite VR, a journey through the night sky in SciWorld's inflatable StarLab planetarium, a racetrack with model cars powered only by hydrogen provided by Northern Water, a marine science display by the Marine Discovery Centre, a wildlife display by Wild on Eyre, an electric circuit activity and several other hands-on activities provided by The Science Collective, Children's University and Northern Water.

Don't miss this unique opportunity to immerse your children in the world of science within the context of a fun family outing. It is the kind of event they will never want to leave!

To guarantee entry don't delay in booking your tickets now at www.thesciencecollective.com
