Tuning in When It Matters: Interoception for Neurodivergent Clients

Many Autistic and ADHDer individuals experience challenges with interoception – the ability to notice and understand their internal bodily sensations. This leads to difficulties with managing distressing emotions and recognising the early signs burnout. Noticing and understanding these cues in key moments allows people to soothe their overwhelming emotions and take essential steps to care for themselves.

Integrating case study examples with practical strategies, and delivered by an Autistic and ADHDer clinical psychologist, this 1.5-hour webinar will teach you how to:

  • Explore clients’ interoceptive strengths and challenges using valid screening tools
  • Identify when interoceptive difficulties are contributing to emotional distress, alexithymia, physical and mental health problems
  • Build interoceptive awareness and accuracy in ways that support psychological well-being and self-compassion

Attending this webinar will give you valuable tools to support your neurodivergent clients and improve their quality of life.

The webinar will be recorded and available for 90 days.

There are two times available for this webinar. Session 1 suits UK & ANZ. Session 2 suits USA & ANZ. Please select your session time carefully.
