Tuning in to Kids (English)
Event description
Tuning in to Kids is an evidence-based parenting program for parents of children aged 2–12 years.
It helps you support your child’s social and emotional intelligence—the skills that form the foundation for healthy relationships, learning, and resilience.
In this program, you will learn how to:
Better understand your child and their needs
Help your child manage their emotions
Prevent and reduce challenging behaviours
Teach your child to handle conflict in healthy ways
Why emotional intelligence matters
Children with higher emotional intelligence:
Make and keep friends more easily
Concentrate better at school
Calm down more quickly when upset or angry
Tend to experience fewer childhood illnesses
Tuning in to Kids gives you practical tools and strategies you can use every day to help your child thrive—both now and in the future.
