Tuning in to Kids® – Emotionally Intelligent Parenting

Tuning in to Kids® is a 6-week, in-person parenting program for parents and carers of children aged 3–12 years.

The program helps parents and carers learn practical ways to:

• talk with their child

• understand their child’s emotions

• help their child manage difficult emotions

• prevent behaviour problems

• teach their child to deal with conflict.

Tuning in to Kids® supports parents and carers to help their children develop emotional intelligence, which can help children build positive relationships, concentrate at school and manage feelings such as upset and anger.

When: Wednesdays, 14 October – 18 November 2026, 10.30pm–12.30pm

Where: Favier House, 51 Cooyong Street, Braddon

Cost: Free
