Emotionally Intelligent Parenting - 6 week program

Would you like to learn how to:

• be better at talking with your child?
• be better at understanding your child?
• help your child learn to manage their emotions
• help to prevent behaviour problems in your child?
• teach your child to deal with conflict?

Tuning in to Kids shows you how to help your child develop emotional intelligence. Children with higher emotional intelligence:

• have greater success with making and keeping friends
• have better concentration at school
• are more able to calm down when upset or angry
• tend to have fewer childhood illnesses

Emotional intelligence may be a better predictor of academic and career success than IQ!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Eligibility Criteria to Attend Program

1. Child is aged 3- 6 years old.
2. Child has some language skills, minimum 2-word phrases.
3. Parents/Carers are able to commit to attendance at 2-hour sessions, weekly for 6 weeks – From Wednesday 21 February 2024 to Wednesday 27 March 2024.
4. Parents/Carers are wanting/needing to increase the emotional regulation skills of their child.
5. Parents/Carers have the mental space and openness to engage and learn new skills.
6. Coordinator has a clear understanding of the parents/carers needs and the child’s needs and think they would benefit from engaging in the program.
7. Delivery of the Course will be online Microsoft Teams.

Date: From Wednesday 21 February 2024 to Wednesday 27 March 2024

Time ACT/NSW (AESDT): 11am - 1pm     
Time QLD (AEST): 10am - 12pm 

Registration: There is no cost to attend this session. Registration is required via Humanitix.
