Did you have ancestors living in Ōtautahi Christchurch? In this two-week course we'll introduce you to resources and research tips to help you discover what they did for their jobs.

From millers to milliners, stenographers to smiths, we'll spend two sessions comparing what information was recorded about working men and women in different sources, explore the library's digital and archive collections, and giving you an overview of some of the local Christchurch industries, big and small.

Special Information: This course uses online resources, so basic computer skills are required.

Ages: Adults 18 years+

When: Wednesday 21 and 28 October (you will be booked into both sessions)

Time: 10am-12pm

Where: Tūranga; Tuakiri | Identity, Level 2 - Wāhi Whakaako /Teaching Room
