TV's on, nobody's home single launch
Event description
BIRDGIRL is making her debut (solo) performance in the city of churches. Hailing from the streets of St Kilda, Melbourne, Birdgirl is a 4-piece formed in early 2025. With an ethereal, yet gritty sound, they weave raw lyricism with twinkly guitar that has an almost midwest emo feel to it.
On their solo journey cross-country, Birdgirl aims to share her most gut-wrenching songs that make you want to clutch your loved ones close!
Joining them will be local folk sweethearts Marina Anthea & Liam Wooley. Marina Anthea is a cozy forest indie-folk pop artist based on Kaurna land, known for her sweet, nature-soaked lyricism and genre-blending sound shaped by a rich musical upbringing as a classical cellist and professional jazz vocalist.
Liam Wooley is a poet and musician whose work falls somewhere between heartbreaking and making you feel like you're whole again. He writes about those who mean the most to him and love in all it's strange and wonderful forms.
