Twerk Dance Classes with Clau - Term 1 (8th February to 29th March) at Balaclava

Get ready to shake it and bring the heat this Term 1 with Shake It Melbourne at Pulse Studios! Whether you're looking to build strength, master new moves, or groove to a killer choreography, we’ve got something for everyone. These classes are progressive, starting with the very basics and building up to an intermediate level by the end of the term.

Class Schedule:

  • 1:00 PM - Conditioning & Basic Steps: Focus on building strength, flexibility, and body awareness, while learning the foundational moves of twerking. This class is perfect for beginners, or anyone wanting to refine their technique.
    You’ll need a yoga block and a booty band for the conditioning class.
  • 2:00 PM - Twerk Choreography: Put your moves into action and learn a fun, energetic choreography to really get your booty shaking and bouncing! This class will help you take your twerk skills to the next level, boost your memory and improve your ability to learn and perform choreography.

Flexibility Options:

  • Take Both Classes: Immerse yourself fully by taking both the Conditioning class AND the Twerk Choreography class each week. Get your FULL PASS SHAKE IT TICKET
  • Take Just One Class: If you're short on time or want to focus on either conditioning or choreography, you can choose to attend just one class each Saturday. get you FULL PASS CONDITIONING or FULL PASS CHOREY.
  • Term Passes: We offer the option to purchase 10-class, 8-class passes or Single class, so you can plan your term to fit your schedule and attend the classes that work best for you.

Please Note: No class on Saturday, 8th March (long weekend).

Everyone is welcome

It doesn't matter if you have twerked before or not at all, this is a beginner friendly classes and also a safe space where you can be yourself, feel amazing and be who you want to be. This term is all about progression—starting with the basics and building towards more advanced moves, so whether you're new to twerking or looking to fine-tune your skills, you’ll have a blast! Reserve your spot and get ready to twerk it!

What to bring?

Bottle of water and kneepads are essential, comfortable shoes and outfits that makes you feel awesome, definitely loose shorts or pants (nothing tight as you will not be able to fully work the moves).

If you are joining the CONDITIONING & BASIC STEPS, bring a booty band and a yoga block. 

Twerk is a full body workout, after each class you will tick off your cardio for the week plus some strengthening and mobility.

Refund policy

No refund. Class passes expire on the 29th of March (last class of the Term)

Ticket exchange

No problems at all - just let us know the name of the person attending in your place. Ticket exchange can be done only once.
