Twilight School Series - Term 4, 2024

We are thrilled to announce the return of Twilight School here at Salesian College in term 4!

Twilight is a series of workshops offered by our talented staff to members of our community. You can learn a new skill, ignite a new passion, and connect with like-minded people in a comfortable and supportive environment. We have 4 exciting workshops coming next term with bookings available very soon. Join us for Sip and Paint, Prayer Group, Floristry, or Baking - we look forward to bringing Twilight back to our community!

Paint & Sip, presented by Kara Richards -Tree of Life Edition – Inspired by Gustav Klimt
Three consecutive Thursdays, Commencing 17th of October
Unwind and unleash your creativity at our upcoming Paint & Sip night! Join us for an evening of fun, relaxation, and artistic exploration as we guide you through painting your very own Tree of Life, inspired by the iconic work of Gustav Klimt. Whether you're a seasoned artist or just looking to try something new, this class is perfect for all skill levels. Enjoy a glass of wine, mingle with fellow art enthusiasts, and take home a masterpiece that you’ll be proud to display.

Prayer Group, presented by Donna Mihos
Three sessions, Commencing 17th of October
Join in for a prayer group gathering, where we will come together to reflect and meditate on the themes of faith and hope through guided prayers and scripture readings. We will explore different forms of Catholic prayer including the Rosary, and Lectio Divina, and walk together for a guided Prayer Pilgrimage. We will also explore how these practices can enrich our spiritual lives. Join us for a serene and uplifting experience as we strengthen our community bonds through prayer. All are welcome and no prior experience is necessary.

Floristry, presented by Marielle Caruana
One session, Thursday 17th of October
In this workshop, we will work with seasonal flowers to create a small table arrangement. We will unpack the steps needed to create a free-flowing arrangement which you can then take home. Join us for a light and fun workshop for the flower lovers of our community. All materials supplied; no prior skills required.

Baking - Portuguese Tarts, presented by Christian Shockley
One session, Thursday 17th of October
Come along and learn the art of making delicious Portuguese Tarts, also known as Pastéis de Nata. In this hands-on class, you'll be guided step-by-step through creating the perfect flaky crust and creamy custard filling that these iconic treats are known for!

We can't wait to host you at the College and share the gifts and talents of our community with you. 

This is a public event and open to all local residents as well as College families.
