Event description

TeachMeets are informal professional learning and networking opportunities for educators to meet and share inspiring and engaging ideas! The aim of the LINQ Academy TeachMeet network is to foster an afternoon of dynamic, inspirational, and insightful pedagogical discussion.

Each TeachMeeet scheduled below will include a special guest and is aligned to impactful teaching strategies.

Term 3 - 1st September (Week 8) Sheldon LINQ Academy

Term 3 - 14th September (Week 10) Sheldon LINQ Academy

Term 4 - 19th October (Week 3) Cannon Hill Anglican College

Presentations are short, sharp, and aim to inspire you to engage in professional conversations with presenters and develop your PLN.

Meetings will also be available via live video stream (link provided post-booking) and a twitter stream #LINQAcademyTM.

The Sheldon LINQ Academy is a learning institution with state-of-the-art facilities and access to new generation tools and technologies to inspire the transformation of learning for students, educators and the wider community. It caters for several different levels of learning, including school holiday workshops, international student and teacher incursions, excursions and a newly formed Initial Teacher Education Pilot program.  The Sheldon LINQ Academy is dedicated to rethinking current educational models by inspiring tomorrow’s educators to challenge current educational paradigms and mindsets. It also aims to prepare future-ready students by empowering learners with the knowledge, technology and skills, in addition to educating the community both locally and globally to enable, engage and connect. This impact statement led to the 3 Pillar philosophy of: Inspiring Tomorrow’s Educators , Preparing ‘future-ready’ Students and Educating the Community.
