The World Needs A Father - Dads Talk
Event description
Have you wondered if you could go back in time and have a do-over, a mulligan – how your kids and your relationship with them might be different?
Research has shown that the at the heart of most of today’s societal problems is the issue of fatherlessness, encompassing both physically and emotionally absence. This is borne out by some statistics such as 85% of all children who show behaviour disorders come from fatherless homes, whilst 71% of all high school dropouts come from fatherless homes.
I have found that we as fathers have significant role to play in the lives of our children, especially during the early formative years. To this end, The World Needs A Father is a global movement of men and women committed to building unbreakable families and healthy communities.
C.S Lewis is quoted as saying “You can’t go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the end.
So, make the most of the opportunity afforded to us by the current restrictions and come join us by registering for Dads Talk, a free 6 week online course (19-April - 24 May) which is open to those men wanting to find out more about what it means to be a man, as well as the responsibilities of fathers, and how these impact the lives of children. This is not a parenting course.
Dates and times for the Dads Talk are as follows:
- Week 1 - Sunday 19-April 7:30pm - 9:00pm
