Two Crows for Comfort

Two time MCMA Roots Duo/Group of the Year, Two Crows for Comfort, are a touring folk/Americana duo from the prairie wonderland of Manitoba, Canada. Playing well over one hundred shows each year, these troubadours spend most of their time on the road in a 20 foot camper with their 90 pound rescue dog, Elliot. They’ve become known for not only their powerful lead vocals, intricate harmonies and unique arrangements but also their comedic yet poignant storytelling and off-the-cuff stage banter that has folks smiling long after the night is over.

They've been seen at festivals across Canada, the US, Europe and the UK including the Winnipeg Folk Festival (MB), Maverick Americana Festival (UK), Dripping Springs Songwriters Festival (TX), Black Bear Americana Festival (CT), and the Blueberry Festival (AK) and have opened for the likes of Bruce Cockburn, Ani DiFranco, David Amram, and Pokey LaFarge.

Amidst their relentless touring schedule they have written and recorded three full length albums, the most recent titled 'Next to Me'. The duo is currently working on their 4th album.

Deux fois lauréat du prix MCMA du « Duo ou groupe roots de l’année », Two Crows for Comfort est un duo de folk/Americana originaire des magnifiques prairies du Manitoba, au Canada, qui se produit régulièrement en tournée. Donnant bien plus d’une centaine de concerts chaque année, ces troubadours passent la majeure partie de leur temps sur la route, dans un camping-car de 20 pieds, en compagnie d’Elliot, leur chien de 90 livres adopté dans un refuge. Ils se sont fait connaître non seulement pour leurs voix puissantes, leurs harmonies complexes et leurs arrangements uniques, mais aussi pour leurs récits à la fois comiques et poignants, ainsi que pour leurs échanges spontanés sur scène qui font sourire le public longtemps après la fin de la soirée.

On a pu les voir dans des festivals à travers le Canada, les États-Unis, l’Europe et le Royaume-Uni, notamment au Winnipeg Folk Festival (Manitoba), au Maverick Americana Festival (Royaume-Uni), au Dripping Springs Songwriters Festival (Texas), au Black Bear Americana Festival (Connecticut) et au Blueberry Festival (Alaska), et ils ont assuré la première partie d’artistes tels que Bruce Cockburn, Ani DiFranco, David Amram et Pokey LaFarge.

Malgré un calendrier de tournées effréné, ils ont composé et enregistré trois albums complets, dont le plus récent s’intitule « Next to Me ». Le duo travaille actuellement sur son quatrième album.
