Two Day Aspiring Innkeeper Intensive - Wolf Cove Inn, ME
Description
Wolf Cove Inn owners, Geoff and Nicole Skidmore, have successfully built a brand that more closely resembles a boutique resort than a typical Inn operation. In fact, they were already plotting the addition of a sauna and nordic spa experience before Closing paperwork was signed. Since that time, they have worked with a noted Maine designer to refresh common areas and guest rooms, have developed a food & beverage program that exceeds the experience at most large scale resorts or boutique hotels, and continue to develop their brand and improve the asset and business (not many Inns have 30K + followers and per post engagement in the millions). We cannot think of a more instructive example of the educational components of our seminar than an immersive experience eating, sleeping, dreaming of Inn ownership, and discussing the Inn trade at Wolf Cove Inn. It doesn't hurt that September is a stunning season for lakeside leisure travel in Maine.
The two day intensive is our most in-depth future innkeeper program and allows for more face time and interaction with your instructors and hosting Innkeepers. This weekend seminar package, including instruction, workbooks, personalized follow-up consultation, meals, and breaks is $495.00 for one person or $595.00 for two.
Attendees are welcome to join instructors for drinks on the evening of Thursday, September 17th, before having dinner offsite or onsite on their own. Breakfast and lunch will be served on Friday, September 18, during the course of the first full day of education, in addition to regular coffee/tea breaks. The full day Friday sessions will end around 5:00 and attendees will have a moment to relax before we meet for drinks and conversation before having dinner onsite as a group. Ongoing conversation between attendees, instructors, hosting Innkeepers, and staff is encouraged throughout the course of the workshop and beyond.
Our formal sessions on Saturday, September 19th, will end by 12:30 PM. We encourage attendees to extend their travel around the seminar dates to fully immerse themselves in hospitality experience offered by the Wolf Cove Inn owners and staff, or to experience other New England markets and properties to test your current purchase model.
Upon confirmation of your seminar registration, we will provide you with information to make your lodging reservations. Each attendee is responsible for booking their room at the host Inn by calling the Inn. Tell them you are with The B&B Team’s seminar to get the preferred rate.
