Tamworth's Beloved Two Day Art Camp
Your child is invited to two content-packed, yet relaxed and mindful school holidays workshop days, at the beautiful Tamworth Community Centre. Drop the kids off for five hours each day, and they will have plenty of opportunity to learn, play and improve their skills with dedicated, experienced artistic educators; a wide array of high quality artistic resources and materials; access to fresh air and exercise in a grassy courtyard, and opportunities to socialise.
Six Art Classes In Two Days
Kids will have the option to attend 6 different workshops from professional artists over the two days.
Badge Making with Logan Hughes
Clay with Danny Stanley
Film-Making with Kaleb Abbott-Atchison
T Shirt Painting with Logan Hughes
Create an Album Cover with Sarah Simpson
Flipbooks with Danny Stanley
Choose Your Own Adventure
If a particular workshop isn't your child's cup of tea, they can feel free to use the schools resources, such as figures, books and materials, to make a masterpiece their own way, while enjoying the company of other little artists and guidance of the teaching artists.
Exercise Breaks & Games
Art Camp is half indoors and half outdoors. In between art sessions, children enjoy the wide open grassy and shaded area of the Community Centre, and play a variety of sports activities and games, such as pickleball, soccer and more - or just relax and take in the day after a snack.
Food
We provide light food such as sliced fresh fruit and bottled water, and the centre has a kitchenette with fridge, microwave, boiling water etc. if required.
