Becoming a member of TWPC is not just about the journey into writing. It’s the sharing of ideas. It’s the ups and the downs. It’s the shaping of your craft. It’s the making of new friends. It’s having fun. We have four writing group meetings a month, which include mini how-to-write workshops, and we have a regular newsletter.

Our mission:

·       Providing opportunities for emerging and beginner writers to develop their craft and knowledge of writing.

·       Promoting writing across North Queensland, particularly in the Townsville region.

·       Helping writers achieve their creative and publishing goals.
