Additional Tyre Drop Off Day

Due to the October Tyre Drop Off Day being extremely popular, we have organised an additional drop off day.

As there is a limit of 100 tyres for the day (due to licence requirements) please book a timeslot and a ticket for each tyre to be dropped off (Max 4 tyre tickets).

This ensures no-one is turned away and helps us to plan future events.

Additional Tyre Drop Off Day - tickets required

Town of Bassendean residents can drop off their unwanted tyres for FREE (with a pre-booked ticket per tyre) at Baywaste Transfer and Recycling Centre at 271 Collier Road, Bayswater. Max 4 per household – no truck or motorcycle tyres.

Tickets essential

If you book and are no longer able to attend, please cancel your ticket so it can be issued to others on the waitlist.

Only residents of the Town of Bassendean are eligible to book.

What to bring

ID to match the booking name / address.

Bring only the number of tyres for each of your individual tyre bookings (4 Max tyres, require 4x tyre tickets).

Many items previously accepted on drop-off days, such as e-waste, aerosols, engine oil, and car batteries, are now accepted at Baywaste year-round.

The following items are FREE to drop off and don’t need a voucher/payment - This is for our Town of Bassendean residents.

You must show Town of Bassendean residential ID and the resident must be present in the vehicle:

• Digital E-waste (computers, laptops, accessories, printers, televisions, etc.)

• Appliance E-Waste (airfryers, microwaves, toasters, heaters, fans, etc.)

• Metal (large scrap metal or small pieces, including bikes)

• Cardboard

• Polystyrene

• Empty aerosol cans

• Engine oil 20L

• Lead acid car batteries/NBN Batteries

• White goods (Fridges/ovens/washing machines).
