We’re back with another cozy, creative evening of pottery with Tyrrell Studios — and this time, it’s all about clay play.
As the weather cools, join us for a mid-week unwind with wine, clay, and great company. Whether you're a seasoned ceramicist or a complete beginner, this two-hour workshop is the perfect way to warm your soul and get your hands a little muddy.

What to Expect
This workshop is all about creative exploration. Under the gentle guidance of Lily from Tyrrell Studios, you’ll learn a few essential hand-building techniques before diving into your own unique piece — think trinket dishes, incense holders, mini bowls, or candle holders. The possibilities are endless!
Lily will offer one-on-one support throughout the session to help bring your vision to life, all while you sip on a glass of wine or a non-alcoholic drink of your choice.

Arrive 10 minutes early to settle in and catch all the important info

You’re welcome to bring a hand towel or apron — but no stress if you forget, clay washes out easily!

As with all pottery, there's a small chance your piece may crack or break in the kiln. By purchasing a ticket, you acknowledge this risk and understand refunds won’t be issued for kiln mishaps

Founded in 2024, Tyrrell Studios is the creative heart of ceramic artist and teacher Lily, based in Melbourne’s west. Her passion lies in sharing the joy of clay through hand-building workshops. Inspired by Roman architecture and the beauty of natural decay, Lily brings an earthy, ancient flair to both her own work and her teaching style.
