    Event description

Yom Kippur, or Day of Atonement, is one of the most important days of the Jewish year. Traditionally it is marked by a 26-hour fast, prayers, and reflection. Join Tzedek Collective to take stock of our deeds in activism and beyond in anti-Zionist, anti-colonialist Jewish community. We will recite traditional-ish and less traditional prayers, including reflection time, before holding a facilitated discussion group on the themes of the day. All components are optional.

While fasting is traditional on Yom Kippur, we recognise that this is not possible or desired for everyone (including but not limited to those with certain medical conditions). However, if you do need to eat during this time we ask that you refrain from doing so in the group space.

Children are welcome, but please note that a dedicated children's program is not planned at this time.

Inner West location (register for location). Location will appear in your order confirmation email (under "message from host") and on your ticket (under "note").

    Free, but capacity is limited.

If you can, please join us in donating to PARA in honour of Yom Kippur (on order page, but be sure to also book your tickets as donations do not include a ticket by default).

Accessibility: ground floor, ramp access available. Large print or electronic materials available on request.
