UC Alumni Auckland Chapter Event
Description
Join UC’s Auckland Alumni Chapter at The Kingslander on Thursday 12 November for drinks, nibbles and a chance to catch up with fellow alumni.
Following his sold-out talk at Raising the Bar in Christchurch, Dr Sibi Walter, Senior Lecturer in UC’s School of Health Sciences, will explore the role of strength in staying healthy and living well.
From enjoying your favourite activities to feeling stronger in everyday life, maintaining muscle plays an important part in living well. Sibi will explore how building strength supports your health, energy and movement, whatever your interests or level of activity. Drawing on insights from high-performance sport, he’ll explain how the principles used by elite athletes apply to us all.
Your ticket includes nibbles and your first drink. Guests (non-alumni) are welcome, please remember to register them too.
