Fri, 25 Oct, 12:30pm - 1:30pm AEDT

Event description

To advance the profession of urban design, the UDA has documented the capabilities of urban designers and developed a registration scheme. Like other self-regulated disciplines, recognition is intended to assure employers, clients and institutions that an urban designer has the relevant knowledge, skills and experience to practise competently and professionally.

The UDA Registered Urban Designer scheme will open for the first intake of applications on 15 October 2024. The scheme offers four different pathways to registration and will assess the skills, knowledge and experience of the applicant via a process including a written application, sponsorship and interview.

If you’re interested in finding out more about the requirements and pathways to becoming a Registered Urban Designer of the UDA (RUDA), come along to the webinar on Friday 25 October 1-2pm. Hear Diana Griffiths (Vice President UDA) and Jesse McNicoll (UDA member & key contributor) explain the process and deadlines for this important first intake of Registered Urban Designers in NSW.
