Join me for Uddiyana Bandha (abdominal lock) and Lung stretches workshop at Blueback Freediving & Yoga to achieve greater depths in freediving!
You will learn the anatomy and physiology of uddiyana bandha, common mistakes and how to correct them. We will also explore each breathing muscle, how to fully expand and contract them, science and practice of pranayama (breathing exercise), gentle yoga postures and lung stretches to awaken the whole capacity of your breath and respiratory system.
Diaphragm awareness, training and safe practice help to increase breath-hold time by building a bridge between the brain and body, allowing us to breathe better and expand more fully with less effort.
This special workshop will give you deep insight into the yogic technique of Uddiyana bandha from a freediving and breath-training aspect, while also being informed by a trained yoga instructor.
