Event description

Get ready to celebrate, cheer and have LOTS of fun... because it’s our annual UMSU Theatre Awards!

We’re throwing a big shiny night to honour the incredible creativity and talent in the student theatre community — topped with an end of year party!

This year's theme? Neon Dreams. Think bright or pastel neons, soft light and electric imagination. Accessorise to your heart’s content or go all out from top to toe neon. 

Expect Market Hall to come alive with pizza, drinks, a DJ, a live band and, of course, the 2025 trophies.

So whip out your best neon dreams outfit and get ready for the drama!

And please remember to bring your ID, you will not be able to consume alcohol without proof of age.
