Join the Adorned artists and participate on the collective’s culture of skill sharing through the workshop (Un) Buttoned-Up!
Free. All abilities and experience levels welcome!
The (Un)Buttoned-Up! workshop focuses on imbuing materials with special meaning through experimental play.
Participants are invited to bring along their personal collection of buttons, big or small, to be included in the workshop process.
By combining your personal button collection with the Adorned button collection, you can stitch and piece together their own personal story onto a small wearable artwork, or add to an organic mosaic of buttons laid out on a table (sewn or arranged).
The Adorned artists will guide a process of arranging, sewing and bringing together an array of recycled sewing materials, whilst sharing a cuppa and warm conversation.
(Additional materials provided include sewing needles, coloured thread, felt and recycled fabric.)
