ONE VOICE, ONE HUMANITY: Human Rights Day 2021

One Voice, One Humanity is an online program curated by the UNAA (NSW) Human Rights Pillar, in partnership with the Centre for Social Justice and Inclusion (UTS), GHD Foundation and Affinity Intercultural Foundation to celebrate Human Rights Day.Â
The program brings together voices from a variety of communities to shed light on the complexity of the Human Rights issues, create awareness of the challenges, and highlight the ongoing achievements. The diversity of voices from Indigenous, multicultural, refugee, youth, ageing, disabled, and LGBTQIA+ communities aims to showcase our shared humanity and reaffirm the importance of Human Rights both within Australia and internationally.Â
Speakers will touch on a range of themes such as:
- Embracing our Common HumanityÂ
- Pivoting the Impact of COVID
- Shaping the Future of Human RightsÂ
- Sports and Human Rights
Hear from Senator Mehreen Faruqi, Lorraine Finlay, David Cross, Dr Dinesh Palipana, Dean Parkin, Lucy Stronach, Peter Bol, Catherine Madziva, Dr Graham Thom, Mariam Veiszadeh, Craig Foster, Matt Levy, Toby Marshall, Jo Metcalfe, Rabbi Zalman Kastel, Calisha Bennett, Dr Patricia Jenkins & Phillipa McDermott.
